The 5th transnational project meeting of the Wiselife Project was held in Izmir, Turkey on 1 and 2 December, 2022.
Hosted by the Izmir University of Economics the meeting’s main focus was on the 5th output of the project, a toolkit for the institutions that will work with the elderly.
After watching the promotional videos od Izmir and Izmir University of Economics, the first point of the agenda was the budget. After the budgetary issues, the following TPM’s host countries were clarified and decided as Bartın/Turkey on 13-14 April, 2023 and Treviso/Italy on 8-9 June, 2023. It was also decided to shoot videos for the Documentary (5 questions, 2-3 people) in each partner institution. A qualitative study was planned among the participants about age discrimination and getting old. Qualitative data of this study was decided to be acquired from the interviews. And the paper will be finalized by June!
As the main subject of the meeting was finishing the toolkit output, a workshop was held by the participants to fullfill the toolkit form. After the presentations of Dr. Burçin Önder on integrating the educational pack into the toolkit and Dr. Burak Amirak on public relations and the toolkit, Bilge Egemen shooted the videos with the participants to be used for the documentary.
It was so nice to be with the partners and work altogether again for the project. We look forward to meet again in April!
